Item Upgrading It's Not As Hard As You Think
World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage. For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that ends in % will take on 3damage to attack each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value). Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the level of the item increases. Components Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a stat boost or to add an additional effect. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns. A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level using standard methods. A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense characteristics of a weapon or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear. Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of an item will be revealed in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon the reset. The process of upgrading an item could be expensive, and it is possible that the item will become obsolete, or even break, if the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the risk of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when reinserted. Glyphs Glyphs are upgrade elements that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes within a radius around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible up to 15 levels. In the endgame you'll often discover that the best way to improve your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes much faster. Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed with a Black Lion Salvage Kit. Each Glyph has a particular range of values that it can improve a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph. You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the numerous Glyphs as well as also a few rare glyphs to be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts. When you have the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph. The use of a Glyph can boost all nodes that are linked to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their most critical damage nodes. Leveling The item upgrading system allows players to increase the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is known as “upping”. Every upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level. Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item. When a player upgrade a piece of equipment it will be replaced with the new item. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This could be a problem because it can make the item more expensive if you don't require it. If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This can be useful but it shouldn't be done often as it can waste resources. Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their gear. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or is able to swim like a dolphin). The item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is extremely important in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of its unupgraded counterpart. Requirements The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the level of their available gear—armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrade r NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of that piece, while upgrading weapon equipment will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements. Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear which can have eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to return to its original condition, which requires the player to pay for more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount. If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained, such as the chance to crit attack damage, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or the speed of reloading). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor even after the failure. When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs. The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades at a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade. Premium items could have different upgrade requirements than normal equipment. For instance they may require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. The player will need to take each piece of gear they want to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the upgrade ingredients in addition to the costs that are listed above.
